THE DRUNKEN DUCK, BARNSGATE, AMBLESIDE The Drunken Duck were already recycling cardboard, paper, plastics, cans and glass using an Eden Community Recycling Multi Material Recycling Unit [MMRU]. Following the purchase of a Ram Pack 40 baler they became able to increase the tonnage placed in the unit by 40% making the units more cost effective and further reducing their waste bills. CRANSTONS CUMBRIAN FOOD HALL, PENRITH Philip and Roger Cranston of the Cumbrian Food Hall have gasped the environmental nettle and installed a Ram Pack Twin Chamber 200 baler to enable them to achieve a cost neutral recycling scheme as part of the companies vision and committment to the enviroment. Crantsons have also installed a Multi Material Recycling Unit from Eden Community Recycling to enable them to recycle hard plastics.
EDEN COMMUNITY RECYCLING, PENRITH Eden Community Recycling, a social enterprise, provides recycling facilities for card, paper, glass, cans, beverage cartons, foil, hard & soft plastic at domestic bring sites in Eden and for commercial buinesses in Eden & South Lakeland have now installed a COBALT SC2000 Screw Compactor to enable them to provide a service for "polystrene" recycling.
NHS FOUNDATION TRUST, CARLETON CLINIC, CARLISLE The NHS Foundation Trust at Carleton Clinic, Carlisle has installed a TC60 Baler to bale their mixed cardboard/paper and plastics, they have also installed a Multi Material Recycling Unit from Eden Community Recycling to enable them to recycle cans, glass, polystyrene, beverage cartons, ink cartridges, mobile phones, postage stamps.
